Cancer & inflammation

Inflammation is the body's response to injury. While transient acute inflammation defends, chronic inflammation is the root cause of many illnesses and actually propagates cancer.

Using INCaSe when your dog is 'apparently healthy' provides you the needed early warning to take action to prevent and/or resolve disease before serious damage occurs.

INCASE 4 mo status

Proven Early Cancer Detection

INCaSe has been validated in an ongoing screening study involving 356 "apparently healthy" dogs. INCaSe was able to detect cancer 4-6 months PRIOR to the onset of visible signs.

Detects Chronic Inflammation

INCaSe combines cancer specific thymidine kinase (TK) and general inflammatory marker C-reactive Protein (CRP). While transient 'acute' inflammation defends, chronic inflammation is the root cause of many serious illnesses and actually propagates cancer.

Acute Inflammation Defends, Chronic Inflammation Kills

Chronic inflammation is at the root of many serious disorders. In our cohort of 356 dogs, 22 died from various diseases during the 6 month study interval. And while 8 of these were cancer related, many others were not. Examining the data, we observed a relationship between inflammation and ultimate demise.

While detecting cancer earlier always has more favorable outcomes, detecting and resolving the very issue that causes cancer or other serious diseases to develop is even more important - namely inflammation
