VDI Laboratory

VDI is the leading provider of diagnostic testing in support of Integrative Veterinary Medicine in the fields of cancer, GI disease, atopy, dietary evaluation, disease screening, and other specialty applications.

About VDI Laboratory

Veterinary Diagnostics Institute (VDI) was originally founded in 2006 with a singular mission: to make advanced diagnostics, developed for humans, available to companion animals, thereby enhancing the diagnostic capabilities of veterinarians.

Today, there is a growing demand from pet parents for better care and disease prevention through a more natural organic approach using fresh or raw diets, avoiding surgery when possible, and a non-pharmacological approach. Whereas, traditional veterinary medicine primarily focuses on treating symptoms with pharmaceuticals and surgery, integrative veterinary medicine combines these conventional methods with holistic approaches to address root causes and promote overall wellness.

VDI is dedicated to supporting integrative care by helping veterinarians identify deficiencies or metabolic abnormalities to prevent disease and diagnose the root causes of illnesses. Our comprehensive testing services now encompass blood, fur, urine, and stool analyses in areas such as cancer, GI disease, atopy, endocrine disorders, degenerative joint disease, dietary evaluation, and disease screening for early detection and prevention.
