| Canine/Feline | Determining the bacteria and fungal species on the skin when dermatitis/pruritus is present, and determine if an IgE mediated allergen is a contributing cause. Also, the panel may help guide appropriate treatment strategies. | IgE allergy testing should only be performed when clinical signs are present to ensure titers are elevated. If no clinical signs are present, avoid testing until a flare-up occurs. |
